About the Programme

Three Keynote Stages.
One Platform.

Microelectronics UK brings together the people building Britain's semiconductor, photonics and embedded systems future. Our speaker programme spans three specialist stages — Semiconductors UK, Photonics UK and Embedded Systems UK — covering thought leadership, technical depth, industry insight and innovation.

Alongside the main stages, our Discovery Stage offers a dedicated space for product demonstrations, interactive workshops, and hands-on showcases — ideal for companies wanting to put their technology directly in front of a senior technical audience.

We welcome proposals from engineers, researchers, commercial leaders and policy experts who are shaping the direction of UK microelectronics.

Our Startup Launchpad provides a dedicated platform for emerging companies to showcase new technologies, share their growth stories and connect with investors, customers and industry partners. It's the place to discover the innovations and entrepreneurs shaping the future of microelectronics. We welcome proposals from founders, innovators and startup leaders working across semiconductors, photonics, embedded systems, advanced manufacturing, AI hardware and related deep-tech sectors.

What We're Looking For

We're Seeking Proposals
That Are...

Sessions that deliver genuine value to a technically sophisticated audience.

Innovative & Forward-Thinking

Sessions that introduce fresh perspectives, emerging research, or new approaches to established challenges in microelectronics.

Technical & Substantive

Content that goes beyond surface-level overview — grounded in real engineering, science, or operational experience.

Industry-Relevant

Directly applicable to the challenges and opportunities facing the UK and global microelectronics ecosystem today.

Non-Commercial in Nature

Our main stage content is educational and thought-led. We do not accept outright product pitches on the Semiconductors, Photonics or Embedded Systems stages.

Audience-Focused

Tailored to senior engineers, researchers, programme leads, and decision-makers working across the microelectronics value chain.

Timely

Connected to the current state of play — whether that's a breakthrough application, a policy response, a supply chain challenge, or an emerging standard.

Self-proposals are welcome. You don't need to be a keynote speaker to apply — practitioners, engineers and researchers are encouraged to submit.
