Zhixin Liu is a Professor of Optical Signal Processing and Communications at University College London in the UK. He received PhD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. He was with Optoelectronic Research Centre at University of Southampton (2013-2016) before joining UCL. His research interest focus on generating, processing and detecting signal with high resolution, especially with the aid of optical frequency combs. He is co-founder if photonic signal generator company Nibras Communications Inc. He is a senior member of IEEE and Optical Society, author of over 150 papers.
