Vinod Koul is a Director, Solution and Services, at Linaro and a long-standing maintainer in the Linux kernel community. With over two decades of experience in low-level system software and open-source enablement, Vinod maintains key Linux kernel subsystems including DMAEngine, Generic Phy, SoundWire, and ALSA compressed audio. At Linaro, his work centers on enabling solutions for customers for CRA, Linux kernel upstreaming, SoC baseport enablement, and platform architecture for Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and Arm-based edge devices. Prior to joining Linaro, Vinod led audio architecture and kernel driver development at Intel. He is a frequent speaker at global Linux Foundation events, including the Embedded Linux Conference and Open Source Summit.
