Sherif Sweha is a 40+ years semiconductor industry veteran with extensive experience in IC design, manufacturing support, and global engineering leadership. During his 21 years tenure at Intel, he was part of the pioneering effort to establish IC design capabilities in the Philippines, an initiative that would later grow into today’s IC Design industry. Throughout his career, spanning time with Lattice Semiconductor, Virage Logic and Synopsys, he led and supported teams responsible for design and manufacturing support of Flash Memories, FPGAs and Foundational IP Products. He currently serves as Principal at Global Leadership Edge Consultants, where he focuses on leadership development and organizational effectiveness. He continues to play an active role in the global microelectronics as an investor and board advisor at a local IC Design house, Silicon Verified Consultancy, and as a mentor, advisor, and advocate for long-term capability building for the greater Philippine IC Design ecosystem.
