Rory Holmes
Chairman of the ISAM Committe,

Rory currently chairs the In-Orbit Servicing, Assembly and Manufacturing (ISAM) Committee at the trade association UKspace. He is also cofounder of the space company Unbound, which develops critical enabling technology to support the ISAM ecosystem.
Rory had over 15 years’ experience in the space industry, working across both manufacturers and operators, and delivering programmes for commercial and institutional customers including ESA, UKSA, and CNES.
He previously led ClearSpace’s UK subsidiary and was a member of ClearSpace Group’s Executive Management Team. Prior to this, he was a Technical Program Manager at Google Loon, where he managed software development activities for cutting-edge network management solutions for satcom customers. He was also Program Manager at OneWeb, leading a portfolio of programmes developing next-generation technologies for the OneWeb constellation, and Program Manager at Honeywell, where he managed technology development programmes delivering RF hardware for satellite missions.
Rory obtained a Master of Physics from the University of Oxford and a PhD from the University of Heidelberg.
