Peter Lane is Consultancy Director at Cyro Cyber and a cyber security, risk and resilience specialist with almost 20 years of experience across defence, manufacturing and enterprise environments. Peter has been leading Cyber Resilience Act readiness programmes for organisations developing products with digital elements, helping them understand how the legislation applies to their products and what practical steps are needed to achieve compliance. His experience spans CRA readiness assessments, product risk and gap analysis, conformity assessment planning, vulnerability management, security tooling, governance, and the development of the evidence required to demonstrate compliance. Working closely with executive, engineering and compliance teams, Peter helps organisations translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business priorities, enabling them to build sustainable compliance programmes while protecting their ability to continue selling products into the European market. Alongside his CRA expertise, Peter is a PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor, an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and has extensive experience advising organisations on cyber security, governance, risk and resilience.
