Mohamed Mounir is a microelectronics engineer at the European Space Agency (ESA), leading the design of space-related microelectronic systems. His work includes mission-specific developments for spacecraft and launcher projects, as well as internal R&D activities such as designing fault-tolerant microprocessors, AI/ML accelerators, and readout ICs.
Mohamed holds a PhD in microelectronics and radiation effects, with over 15 years of experience in designing fault-tolerant microelectronic systems for safety-critical applications such as space and nuclear systems.
