Based out of Marlboro, MA, USA. John has 34 years of experience in EDA design, MCAD simulation, & Design Data Management (DDM) / Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools. John's current role is Lead Product Management for the Solido Custom IC Design portfolio of tools. This focuses on the Siemens schematic and layout offerings specific to the IC design space. John's prior role was Worldwide Technical Director managing field resources in pre-sales engagements for the Solido Custom IC Design tools. John worked for Mentor Graphics for 13 years in Management, Technical Sales, & Marketing positions responsible for PCB design, FPGA simulation, MCAD simulation, and Valor NPI. John has vast experience of accelerating performance for both direct and indirect (distribution) sales models. Prior to Mentor Graphics, John was with Innoveda where he held a Technical Sales Management position. In addition, John spent 8 years with Viewlogic Systems Inc. in Pre/Post Technical Sales Technical Management and individual contributor positions. During his tenure with Viewlogic, John was focused on corporate enterprise integration of ECAD and DDM/PLM based flows. John holds a BSEE from Northeastern University in Boston, MA USA.
