Joe is a Technical Lead at Linaro with over 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering, specialising in embedded Linux, Yocto, and systems architecture. He has spent his career in regulated, safety-critical industries - defence, aerospace, medical devices, and public safety - with experience driving the full compliance lifecycle, from cybersecurity risk assessments and security requirements through to implementation, penetration testing, and regulatory documentation. At Linaro, Joe is the subject matter expert for the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), helping device makers understand the regulation and guiding them along the path to compliance.
