Jack Chynoweth is a Principal Photonics Engineer at Leonardo, with five years’ experience in analogue photonics for electronic warfare aerospace systems. He graduated with an MEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and became a Chartered Engineer in August 2024. His work focuses primarily on radio frequency over fibre, with wider interests in optical processing and optical frequency conversion. He has also been closely involved in tracking key developments in photonics and assessing how they could be applied to electronic warfare applications.
