Ian Alderton

Ian Alderton is the Technical Sales Director and a Director of Alrad Instruments Ltd, a long-established UK supplier of scientific, imaging, photonics, and machine vision technologies. Having been with the company since the early 1980s, he has played a key role in expanding Alrad’s portfolio of advanced industrial and scientific equipment and building strong relationships with leading global technology manufacturers. Widely respected within the machine vision and photonics sectors, Ian has also served as Chairman of the UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA), helping to promote innovation and best practice across the industry. With decades of technical and commercial experience, he continues to support customers in applying cutting-edge imaging, automation, and photonics solutions across research and industrial markets.
