Frank Yao is the founder and chief executive of Innofocus Photonics Technology Pty Ltd, and the primary architect of the Company’s technology strategy and commercialisation roadmap. He brings over 25 years of experience driving digital transformation and commercialising deep technologies across advanced manufacturing, telecommunications and IT, machine learning, photonics, renewable energy, nanomaterials, and MedTech. His expertise spans strategic planning, business development, product innovation, and operations management, with a demonstrated track record in forming high-impact ecosystem partnerships across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and North America. Frank is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and is currently completing a PhD in Nanophotonics, reinforcing the Company’s scientific credibility and ensuring executive-level technical fluency at the governance level. Under his leadership, Innofocus has built a multi-product nanomanufacturing platform, secured government recognition, and progressed from an R&D-stage operation to a commercialisation-ready entity with an international footprint.
