

Elie Allouis
As the Head of Advanced Concepts and Robotics at Airbus Defence and Space in the UK, Dr Elie Allouis is leading a highly multidisciplinary team to support the implementation of current programmes and technology developments activities related to Space Robotics and advanced technologies.
Over the last 15 years at Airbus, he has developed his expertise in robotic system design and architectures, and has led a range of advanced concepts and implementation projects involving robotic system such as rovers and manipulators. These included Moon/Mars rover concepts, robotic manipulator developments, as well as the setup of a robotic teleoperation experiment with British astronaut Tim Peake from the International Space Station.
With a keen interest in emerging technologies, and a passion for the definition and the delivery of future systems and applications, Elie is currently involved in UK and International projects related to in-space assembly and In-orbit services, as well as the development of the critical technologies to support a range of future in-space and planetary applications.
