Barney Stinton is Market Development Lead for Aviation at GSMA Fusion, the enterprise arm of the GSMA. He works across the aviation and mobile industries, bringing together airlines, airports, aircraft and technology companies, regulators and mobile network operators to identify real-world challenges and translate them into common industry requirements. With a background in global partnerships and business development, Barney’s work focuses on how 5G, network APIs and terrestrial and non-terrestrial networks can support the next generation of aviation. His focus spans connected aircraft and airports through to drones and Advanced Air Mobility, helping shape the digital infrastructure needed for a safer, more connected and scalable aviation ecosystem.
