Anurag Chand joined BAE Systems as an Engineering Manager, having previously worked as a Lead Engineer at GE Aerospace. He has designed and worked on safety critical systems in aerospace for 10 years, focusing on high fidelity, criticality and reliabile solutions working under strict standards and processes on software, systems, hardware and FPGA domains. At BAE Systems Anurag primarily heads up recruitment for hardware engineering, the early careers team (Graduates, Industrial Placements and Summer Interns) as well as resourcing, bids and technical oversight on HUDs and Mission Systems programs. He utilises his knowledge and experience of safety critical design to provide certification support to critical defence and civil programs with national impact while contributing to updated aerospace standards such as DO-254A. Anurag is passionate about development for engineers at all levels. He is also a part of the IET and helps mentor engineers through their journey into Professional Registration (EngTech, CEng etc.).
