The UK Electronics Skills Foundation (UKESF) is the voice for skills in the UK Electronics industry. As an independent charity, our mission is to inspire more young people to study Electronics and to pursue careers in this vital sector.
The UK has a proud heritage of innovation, and a world-class Electronics industry yet demand for capable engineers continues to outstrip supply. UKESF works tirelessly to address this skills gap by engaging schools, universities, and industry partners. Through award-winning initiatives such as our Scholarship Scheme, which connects students from 30 top universities with leading employers, we create a strong and motivated talent pipeline, over 90% of our scholar’s progress into Electronics and technology careers.
Alongside scholarships, UKESF delivers impactful national programmes including Girls into Electronics, Electronics Everywhere, and the newly launched Semiconductor: Skills, Talent and Education Programme, ensuring young people at every stage are inspired and supported.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do: to date, we have worked with more than 100 employers, 30 universities, and over 850 schools across the UK. By working with UKESF, companies can engage directly with future engineers, influence education, and help secure the industry’s future.
