Technology Scotland is the industry association and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s critical and enabling technologies sector. Through a portfolio of networks and initiatives, it connects and supports a vibrant community of industrial and academic organisations developing innovative technologies and bringing new products and solutions to markets spanning healthcare, communications, manufacturing and mobility. Technology Scotland is the delivery lead for Scotland’s Critical Technologies Supercluster (SCTS), in partnership with the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise, the University of Glasgow and the University of Strathclyde. SCTS brings together Scotland’s strengths in photonics, quantum technology, semiconductors, and sensing and connectivity to create a single, integrated ecosystem that accelerates innovation, investment and growth (www.techsupercluster.scot). With an ambition to grow the supercluster beyond £10 billion in revenues, the initiative delivers a programme focused on skills, investment, infrastructure, internationalisation and collaboration — strengthening Scotland’s position as a globally competitive hub for critical technologies.
