Modern AI infrastructure is optimised for computation, while the systems that retrieve, connect and update knowledge remain CPU-bound. As inference accelerates and AI systems become increasingly autonomous, millions of AI systems will need to reason concurrently over shared, interconnected knowledge. Existing infrastructure was never designed for this workload, forcing AI systems to repeatedly reconstruct context, duplicate work and leave increasingly powerful compute waiting for knowledge. Atlas is building the infrastructure that allows AI systems to continuously access, navigate and build upon shared knowledge at the speed and scale of modern AI.
